So much of our global life, from international commerce, economy and trade to the simple act of a child buying a lollipop at the local candy store, is defined by how we move things from Point A to Point B. The inner workings and particulars of shipping and logistics are constantly changing and always exciting. From time to time, a particular event occurs that will affect the shipping industry in ways never even considered. Sometimes even a trade lane can cause a stir. Whatever new wrinkle or challenge faces the world, shipping responds.

It has been my great privilege to be part of the shipping industry for most of my life. Much has changed and will continue to change. Exactly what the next compelling logistic challenge will be is anyone's guess. But, my thoughts and opinions will be here when it happens.
